Chainsaw Man Movie Just Dropped in Japan and It's Already Breaking the Internet
Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc hit Japanese theaters today (September 19th) and fans are going absolutely wild. The new trailer just dropped with the ending song "JANE DOE" - a collab between Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada. Yeah, you read that right.
When Can You Watch It?
- September 24: International screenings start
- October 24: US theaters and IMAX
Why Everyone's Hyped
The Reze Arc is hands down one of the best storylines from the manga. Director Tatsuya Yoshihara (who did episodes 4 and 10 of the TV series) is back, and MAPPA is going all-out with upgraded animation for the big screen.
Plus they got the director of Look Back to design the devils. That's going to be some serious nightmare fuel.
The Big Picture
This isn't just another anime movie - it's getting the full cinematic treatment with IMAX screens and international releases. After Demon Slayer and JJK 0 proved anime movies can be massive hits, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc looks like it's taking things to the next level.
Bottom Line
Early reactions from Japan are insane. The Kenshi Yonezu x Hikaru Utada collab alone is worth the price of admission.
Mark October 24th on your calendar if you're in the US. This is going to be one of those movies everyone talks about for months.
The chainsaw is revving up. 🔥
